Maison Sport recognises that the transition from working as a ski instructor in a ski school, to working for yourself as an independent instructor can be daunting. Ski schools essentially offer a safety net of ‘guaranteed hours’ providing you with an understanding that you should earn a minimum amount of money, that allows you to pay your bills and put food on the table.
The Maison Sport Work for Yourself Initiative is providing new independent instructors with the same safety net. You can now be confident that working for yourself is no longer a huge risk, you can benefit from the huge upside in earning potential making €30,000 to €35,000 each winter, whilst Maison Sport protects your downside.
The Maison Sport Work for Yourself Initiative will guarantee a limited number of instructors in Switzerland, France and Italy a minimum of €20,000 to work for yourself.
How does the initiative work?
You sign up to Maison Sport as an independent instructor and we will help you create an awesome profile, provide advice on pricing and on booking strategy. Like other instructors signed up to Maison Sport you will also benefit from our support team, who are always on hand to help. If at the end of the winter you have earned less than €20,000 we will make up the difference.
How do I qualify?
You must have a valid carte pro and have spent last winter working for a ski school and not already be an active instructor on Maison Sport.
