Marino was friendly and supportive and his feedback was really helpful. He inspired confidence in what he was teaching me and my confidence about skiing. Afterwards I felt enthusiastic about my skiing and wanted to carry it on and take it further even in conditions that were difficult.

A great afternoon’s skiing, 2-5. He assessed your capabilities and then upped the challenge to match but always giving little pointers. We spent the second half of the afternoon on some great off piste runs which were a joy. By the end it was a case of Marino you choose, because each run was getting better and better. I hope Marino enjoyed those runs as much as I did.

Marino was excellent. The best instructor I have had. My five sessions had been originally booked for my husband, Ben, but when he wasn't able to get to the slopes, I took the lesson. When you have already been skiing for a while and want to improve, it's hard to change your habits. Marino focused on trying to help me get in the right position and rhythm by incremental changes. I didn't have to do lots of weird exercises or try to fix everything at the same time (my past experience with instruction). I also always got the clarity which movements were non-negotiable and where I could give myself a break and try when I am more confident. On a few things, it felt like a lightbulb moment. It finally clicked. I still need to embed what I learned, but I feel a lot more confident about trying. I also used one slot for my daughter to get her finally out of snow plough (something we hadn't manage before). Again, Marino's magic worked there. One afternoon and now she is now committed to trying systematically. Again, the trick was Marino showing her how she can get herself in the right position by trying a few things. If we are back in Samoens, we are definitely going to take more lessons from Marino. Hopefully, my husband will be able to join too.

What a superb instructor, I can only say that I wish I had more time. I enjoy skiing with Marino and I'm hooked on the progress. I had planned to just brush up my skills, yet without realising Marino gave me skills and the confidence to use them that continue today.

My kids spent a week skiing with Marino and now they keep talking about skiing and their hero Marino. They had such a good time with Marino. And further to that, I'm now the one that needs lessons. The kids are skiing so well, I cant believe it, in just a week.

Marino is an absolute star, his kind and careful approach helped me and my husband develop our skiing beyond our expectations. A great person, a great instructor. Highly reccommend.
