She knew exactly the points that I needed to work on so we focussed on a lot of different ways to work on this. By the end of our 3 lessons with Rowena, our group of 4 very cautious and fearful skiers were tackling the slopes confidently by ourselves at a level we didn't think was possible to achieve in our short vacation to Zermatt! Rowena was very positive, attentive and made sure to help us all individually. Rowena also gave a us great technical feedback so we would continue to progress as much as we could during our lessons. We are currently planning our next trip back to the Zermatt and look forward to inquiring about more lessons with Rownena!

She explained the technicalities of using the skis and your own body position so well I am now skiing runs I would have been very weary of previously. Rowena really was fantastic at helping me 'find my legs' again after a few years away from skiing. She made me feel so comfortable straight away and listened to my concerns and really helped me to address them from the get go. After a morning lesson with her on the first day I can honestly day for the rest of the trip, I did my best skiing and so much of that is down to Rowena giving me the time and confidence to get back into the swing of things. We first met Rowena several ears ago ( when she was a young girl) on a recommendation from a ski resort manager. Every year since then my wife and I have had a days personal tuition with her and our skiing has improved significantly. Unlike Rowena we started skiing late in life and her tuition has given us confidence to ski on all slopes, in all types of snow and all conditions. We will continue to have a lesson every year when Covid permits

We have know Rowena for over twenty years, and she looked after us most winters. She is often the sanest person in the group and is always great to have around.
