Silence, Let’s Ski I was often told that being a ski instructor was not a career for deaf people. Yet, I never gave up on my passion. I started skiing at the age of 8, and by 13 I already knew I wanted to become a ski instructor. My parents preferred that I finish my studies in Paris. At the same time, I continued competing in skiing, alongside both deaf and hearing athletes. Most instructors will teach all levels of ability, if you're still not sure, we recommend asking the Maison Sport Team on the live chat, as we may be able to provide further information.

Lessons will generally begin at the main lift station in resort, however, it's often also possible to arrange to start your lessons at your accomodation (especially for full day lessons or a lesson starting first thing in the morning). Upon booking Sophie S will be able to suggest the most suitable meeting point to ensure you get the most from your lessons. If you have a particular request which will influence whether you book this instructor, for instance starting at a restaurant on the mountain, then we suggest messaging the instructor prior to booking.
