Two of us had 5 days of 2-hour lessons with Jono. We were not complete beginners but definitely needed to learn good technique and posture, understanding how to work with the board and the terrain. Jono asked what we wanted out of the lessons and was very patient with us. His calm voice and demeanour was very reassuring, allowing us to learn at our own pace and gain confidence as the week progressed. He also gave us very good advice on which blue and green runs would be suitable for practicing and also where to go after snowboarding. He was also great fun to chat with on the lifts/gondolas and it was good to know more about the mountains and the different villages as we were going up.

I booked Jono for 3 x 3 hour lessons for my 14 year old son and I. I had boarded before but my son was a beginner. He had my son linking turns on his second day and gave me a massive amount of confidence and helped to correct my bad habits! Jono was so laid back and patient, he is obviously an amazing boarder but we didn't feel intimidated, he explained things really well and was good fun and great company. I cannot recommend Jono highly enough for a mum needing confidence and a teenager with no fear! We will definitely book Jono again.

I still remember the wonderful ski holidays that I have spent with my friend in Courchevel 1850. Jono is a very patient instructor. We progressed gradually and smoothly and built our essential skills for beginners. Jono not only showed us how to ride on snowboard, but also gave us a very detailed illustration of how the a snowboard is working. Very good experience with Jono, highly recommended!

We booked Jono to give our 10 y.o., Fraser, his first intro to snowboarding for 5 consecutive morning in Dec 2019. Jono was excellent form start to finish - he was prompt to respond to enquires, flexible in arranging sessions and Fraser loved his lessons and progressed far more than we ever hoped in the week. Fraser was very comfortable with Jono from the start and alway came back full of technical tips and guidance that he had been given in that session and was raring to go for the next one. Can’t fault the service we received and will definitely be back next year when the next child takes up boarding.

During our holiday in La Tania my partner and I booked 3 lessons with Jono, we are both beginners who have limited experience in snowboarding. overall we were in need of confidence and pointers with our terrible cornering technique. I honestly can not recommend Jono enough, he was patience, knowledgeable and very helpful. Under his guidance I have improved leaps and bounds. My corning ability at the start of the week was basically non existence, where I was basically doing all runs on just my toes. However I finished the week being able to string together a full run with cornering on both my heels and toes. We will be booking with him again next year.
