I am Nejc (pronounced Nate). I have been skiing all around the world but Morzine is a place is where my heart is. I am an enthusiastic skier, who learned to ski at a young age and quickly moved in to ski racing. After retiring from ski racing due to injury, I went to university and studied electrical engineering. Despite graduating successfully, my passion is skiing, so I decided to pursue a career as a ski instructor. I have a lot of teaching experience, having taught in Slovenia, France, Switzerland, Austria and Australia for many years. I saw a kangaroo on the snow, so there is nothing that can surprise me anymore!
I am confident to say that my easy going personality is a great match for every skier. It doesn't matter if it's your first time on the snow or you are training for next world championship. I will adapt and tailor the lesson for your needs. My customers are usually thrilled about my relaxed and patient approach with just the right amount of challenge.
Being around my young nieces all the time I am always glad to make children's experience on the snow especially magical for them. But be warned - the kids will have a hard time leaving the slopes after I teach them how to do their first turns!
I am accepting both individuals and groups. I suggest that all the skiers are around the same level so the progress and enjoyment can be maximised for all.
Usually our meeting point is at the top of the Pleney, but if you book me for the whole day we can arrange meeting point, starting time and finishing place.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any additional information!

I had a great lesson with Nejc on New Years Day! There was very minimal snow in Les Gets and so Nejc suggested we head over to Avoriaz to make the most out of our lesson, he really did pull out all the stops to ensure the lesson was disrupted as little as possible and I was able to continue to progress with my skiing. Nejc's teaching style is excellent and he ensures you feel comfortable at all times, whilst also making sure you are progressing throughout the lesson - we had a really fun day laughing and learning. After our 3 hour lesson I felt so much more confident and had the snow situation been better, I would definitely have booked another lesson. I am hoping to visit Les Gets again later this year and Maison Sport and Nejc will be my first port of call for another lesson to get my ski legs again. Lastly, Nejc is super communicative and responds in a very timely manner. I couldn't reccomend Nejc enough!

Nejc was amazing with our 2 boys. He made the lessons fun and they had such a great time with him. His English is fantastic, he was quick at getting back on messages and was brilliant with the kids. I would highly recommend him!

You can arrange the meeting point with your chosen instructor by using the Maison Sport messaging system. We recommend agreeing this before you book your lessons, but it can always be arranged at a later date. The instructor should be able to suggest somewhere that is convenient for you both.
Any instructor that has a blue ‘verified’ tick icon on their profile has had their qualifications vetted and verified by the Maison Sport team, the level of qualification required to have a verified account on Maison Sport varies slightly by country. As follows: France – all verified instructors must carry a ‘Carte Professionelle’ licence, the qualification requirements for this licence are very high. The licence is administered by the French Government (to attain a Carte Professionelle most instructors will have studied for an average of 5 years+ to attain the correct level of qualification). Aside from requiring the instructor to have the highest level of qualification, which includes numerous teaching and technical performance diplomas in skiing or snowboarding, European mountain safety courses and the Euro speed test, the instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate. Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Instructors working independently must provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to do so and instructors that are working for a ski school must provide details of the school they work for.
Unless otherwise agreed with the instructor no more than 6 people can take part in a lesson, each instructor will have their own policy for this, so it is best to just double check with them by sending a message. Most instructors won't charge extra if there is more than 1 person taking part in the lesson, but always best to check with them before booking.s
If you are on a desktop computer or laptop, you will see a box on the right hand side of the screen which contains various lesson options and pricing, simply select the lessons you would like and then click 'Book now', then follow the instructions to make payment.
