What to expect in a ski lesson

Before meeting up we will exchange about your project. From half days technical feeds with video support to long days trying to ride as much vertical drop as possible, I will make the best out of every hour up on the snow. I'll adapt to your expectations, here are some themes to inspire you : - ski or snowboard lessons: depending on your level we will choose the resort, meet at the foot of the slopes for half a day (morning or afternoon. - To begin, I will give you all the keys of the activity: equipment, safety, how to move on the snow on the flat and small climbs, then how to stop, take a butonlift/chairlift, and finally control your speed downhill and evolve in making turns - to progress, whether you have a week or 10 years of skiing experience, a session will consist of a warm-up phase followed by observation. Through explanations, technical movements and thanks to the video you will find a progression. - bumps and carving: I will develop all my pedagogy to achieve your goals. - "Off-piste" training: (ski or snowboard) You are comfortable on all the slopes of the resort, even if there are bumps. You want to master all the facets of the practice far from sanitized slopes, to venture in safety and to be able to adapt your technique to different types of snow Over half a day or a full day, I suggest you approach off-piste practice, first take stock of your technique and develop it in the different aspects if necessary. Then teach you good practices in terms of security. If you are already practicing, we can consider major routes, such as the Vallée Blanche and its 11 km descent on the Glacier du Géant from the Aiguille du Midi 3848m. - Freeride / Freerando session: (ski or splitboard) You are a good off-piste rider and want to chain the beautiful wild and technical routes of the Chamonix valley and its surroundings, of Courmayeur, Verbier, or Paradiski. On a full day I suggest you rely on my experience and my knowledge of the field, let yourself be guided! Example in Cham Valley: - Grands Montets: itineraries of the Pendant, secret lines of corridors in the Argentière forest, glaciers from the Aiguille des Grands Montets (Diagonal, "Pas de Chêvre", Rachasse, Bochard glacier) - Le Tour: little unknown jewels of the valley, steep couloirs of "Les Posettes", north face of the Arolette, descents on the village of Trient, combe de la Vormaine and its steep and narrow couloirs - Brevent Flégere: all the expertise of a guide is necessary there to be at the right time in the right place and descend in the best conditions the Brevent Couloirs (ENSA, Belin, ...), the "pentes de l'autel" - Aiguille du midi: with appropriate glacier equipment, the high mountain routes are open to you, Valée Blanche, routes upside the Aguille du Plan ("envers du plan"). Or simply from the Plan de l'Aiguille mid-station (near the Rocher, Combe des Glaciers) - Courmayeur: Italian skiing, Toule glacier, Col d'Entrêves if you are a steep skier - Verbier: a mecca for freeride and freerando, which I know well, the insurance of big Offpist ski sessions. If you have Freerando equipment (wide freeride ski with boots and bindings adapted to ski touring), the possibilities are multiplied. On request I can provide safety equipment - day ski touring, "haute routes" multi days trips / itineraries: You are attracted by the wild mountains, you want to get away from ski resorts. The effort of the climb, the endurance required to climb peaks is calling you. If you are already an off-piste skier or think you have the abilities, I can show you the most beautiful ski touring circuits in the valley: - in the Aiguilles Rouges: crossing the Crochues and Berard passes, Mont Buet, Bel Oiseau pass - in the Mont Blanc massif, approaches and skiing on glaciers: Col du Passon, Col d'Entrêves, Brêche Puiseux The culmination, the most beautiful trip for an adventure-loving skier is the roaming, the journey through a massif, the crossing of a region on skis in several stages, with nights in a high mountain refuge. for example "Chamonix - Zermatt": 6 days in the privacy of snow-capped peaks and the largest alpine glaciers! The must ! To continue the adventure and travels, you will find on my profile photos of my ski trips to Chile, Norway or Japan. You could be part of the next start!! ;-) Contact me and ask me your questions! See you soon
