Native of Haute Tarentaise valley, I begin skiing as a young child on the slopes of this beautiful valley, accompanied by my family, who have shared with me their passion for skiing and their knowledge of these unique mountains.
Graduated from the National School of Skiing and Mountaineering, I combine travel and skiing with the seasons. Driven by the need to explore the world, I spend the winter in my mountains and the rest of the year abroad, guided by the pleasure of sliding in a preserved nature.
From 2014 to 2019, I experience mountaineering and steep skiing in the Mont Blanc massif. During these four winter seasons, surrounded by local professional guides and skiers in Chamonix, I had the chance to increase my knowledge in high mountains. I refine my analysis of the terrain, weather and snow conditions to evolve safely.
In 2017, I realized a winter season in New Zealand. Based in Queenstown, I was skiing at Coronet Peak and Remarkables. There, I could experiment a very changeable snow typical of the South Island, and I was able to discover the snowy peaks of Mount Cook National Parc by ski touring.
In December 2018, I made a trip to China, in the Wanlong Ski Resort on the outskirts of Chongli City (organizer of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games) to participate in the launch of an international ski school. This stay has open myself to a new culture, and to be able to evolve in a climate, with extreme weather and changing snow conditions.
Those years of traveling on different continents allow me today to share the art of skiing and the experience of the mountain, by being in the right place at the right time.
Born February 17, 1990 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Trained as a carpenter, I began renovating a traditional Tarine house built in 1858 with the help of my brothers.

-The best terrace for lunch?
Where ever we'll go and what ever we'll do, it will always taste local and fun!
Hi Pierre-Louis Is very friendly and professional. My daughter improved dramatically during the lessons
Pierre Louis is an incredible instructor!!! I went skiing with him for two days. He is very skilled, patient and gave constant feedback. He helped me improve so much. Pierre is very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend taking private lessons with him- you won’t regret it!! You will improve a lot and have a lot of fun along the way!
Absolutely loved my two days skiing with Pierre-Louis. Booked lessons to help build my confidence and improve turning but learnt so much more about the fundamentals that I not only improved my turns but left a much better skier than I ever imagined - with the confidence to ski in any condition and on any slope! The pace was great, Pierre-Louis was on time/super friendly and the lessons were fun. As a bonus, also learnt about my skis, the mountains, the snow and the region (where he is from). He is without a doubt the best instructor I’ve ever had, highly recommend.
My family (4) of mixed ski from intermediate to advanced had a great day with Pierre-Louis! He showed us all around Tignes, had great advice for the mountain, the area and excellent instruction to each of our levels. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
You can arrange the meeting point with your chosen instructor by using the Maison Sport messaging system. We recommend agreeing this before you book your lessons, but it can always be arranged at a later date. The instructor should be able to suggest somewhere that is convenient for you both.
All instructors listed on Maison Sport have been verified by their nation's governing body, be it the French Government's Department of Sport, Swiss Ski Federation or The Italian Winter Sports Federation, so you can rest assured you will be in safe hands when you’re on the slopes.
Generally no more than 8 people, each instructor has their own policy for this, so it is best to just double check with them by sending a message. Most instructors won't charge extra if there is more than 1 person taking part in the lesson, but always best to check with them before booking.s
If you are on a desktop computer or laptop, you will see a box on the right hand side of the screen which contains various lesson options and pricing, simply select the lessons you would like and then click 'Book now', then follow the instructions to make payment.
