Hi everybody, I’m Giulia and I live in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
I started skiing when I was 3 years old and have never stopped. I’ve been racing for more than 12 years and became a ski instructor when I turned 19.
I've always lived here in the mountains, and since 2016 I have worked as a freelance ski instructor around Cortina. I love my mountains and I want everyone to experience all that this beautiful place has to offer. I can guide you through the best ski areas, take you to delicious restaurants and show you breathtaking scenarios.

I’m positive and enthusiastic, and enjoy teaching both children and adults at all levels.
In 2015 I have taken a certification course for teaching children, and have learned many new teaching techniques. I know how to make children feel comfortable in every situation so they can learn and have fun at the same time. With professionalism and energy I will make the best out of your ski lessons.

So let’s go skiing and learn new things together!

If you are interested in day tours, this is an amazing tour that I offer.

Sellaronda Panoramic TourThe whole day is spent above 2,000m, where the views of the Dolomites are breathtaking. I will pick you up in the morning, and take you to Corvara, where our tour will start. We will ski through stunning slopes and amazing scenery, seeing 4 different valleys. The first highlight will be Passo Campolongo, then we'll ski to Passo Pordoi where we can go up with the cable-car to mountain Sass Pordoi to see the panoramic view, next we'll ski down to Canazei then up to Passo Sella where we’ll have lunch on a panoramic terrace at a restaurant offering delicious local food and beautiful views. We will finish our tour and go back to Corvara trought the last mountain pass, Passo Gardena.
We can even reach the top of the Mount Marmolada (3.343 m.) which is considered the highest of the Dolomites. The main glacier is located on the northern slope and is the largest glacier in the Dolomites.
In total, 40 kilometres of tours await, 26 kilometres of those offer pure skiing.
every participant needs to have an intermediate level of skiing (red slopes), children bigger that 7 years can participate. Depending on the level of the group we can choose between adrenaline black slopes or easier slopes.

Giulia was fantastic. she was perfect both for my wife and me (older slower skiers ) and with my 12 year old son and 16 year old daughter (faster and off piste) would not hesitate to use her again.

I had no hesitation in deciding to accompany my partner on what was to be my first ever ski experience this year. I hesitated a little on my second thought when it occurred to me that I was 61 years old and, although relatively fit, had experienced one or two broken bones from horse riding accidents over the years. But, you only live once and so we departed for beautiful Corvara in the Dolomites earlier this year. Private lessons were booked for me on four consecutive mornings, allowing my partner the freedom to ski unhampered by a complete beginner . My ski instructress was Giulia, a very lovely Italian girl, fresh-faced and smiling. My first lesson was packed with information and resulting in attempts to do as I was instructed but more times than not I ended in a heap. Despite her small frame, Giulia put me back on my skis and the lessons continued. By the end of our first day I had successfully ridden the chair lift four times and ski-ed a Blue Run, top to bottom! Day 4 saw me swishing from side to side down a Blue Run. (OK not so very fast, but all the same....) Giulia was charming, patient , informative and encouraging and I would thoroughly recommend her as a ski instructor.

Such a fantastic instructor! Giulia is so patient and worked well with our group that had mixed abilities. Gave some great restaurant recommendations too. Really thought our skiing improved over the week. She was very friendly and flexible with our changes. THANK YOU for making our holiday!

Giulia is an awesome skiing instructor. She is kind, patient and very skilled. She gave me plenty of handy tips as I followed her down the slopes. Giulia was able to demonstrate right from wrong and made my experience in Cortina so memorable. Not only did she teach me how to ski (I was previously a snowboarder), but she helped make restaurant reservations for lunch, provided plenty of great dinner recommendations and went above and beyond when I needed her laptop to finish an assignment one night. Giulia is an exceptional instructor and was able to get me to go down a black run on the last day! Will definitely be seeing Giulia again when I’m next in Cortina. Amy
