Kieran is an excellent instructor and guide and I cannot recommend him enough. We had challenging conditions with little fresh snow and yet he managed to find a route and terrain every day that enabled me to learn split boarding and back country technical and safety as well as enjoy my time in Chamonix. He is patient but pushed me outside my comfort zone enough to improve every day.

We booked Kieran for three full days to teach my daughter how to ski. From the moment we booked him he was in touch with us to find out how much knowledge she knew, what our objectives were, etc. When we arrived he met us at the rental store, picked up our daughter and drove her out of Chamonix to Le Tour where the pistes are quieter and wider, easier to learn to board on. By the end of the three days, she had mastered turns and was confident enough to come up the mountain with us and do some harder runs. He was an excellent, patient teacher and I would happily use him again.

The first 2.5 hours were entirely dedicated to one-boot turns behind a restaurant, and only the last 20 minutes were available for trying basics on the slope. Kieran was easy-going, fun and patient, but offered limited technical tips for rookies.

Really fantastic instructor! Did my first session to improve on my red runs which wasgreat and I made good progress. Then I went back to do another lesson in the snow park whcih was both really fun and useful! Strongly strongly recommend, will defo use Kieran again if I'm back in Chamonix!

I would highly recommend Kieran - my 2 children had private snowboarding lessons with him and they have the BEST time. They are usually quite shy but they loved the lessons and within 2 days have gone from complete beginners to blue runs! Kieran is relaxed, fun and very competent - exactly what you need in an instructor. Will definitely book again

My three children and I had 3 half day lessons with Kieran. We really enjoyed the variety of the boarding we learned (from carving to powder to tricks) and the demos Kieran did for each bit of learning were excellent and very helpful. We all feel we improved massively over the three days and we'd highly recommend Kieran. Happy boarding:)
