As part of our commitment to improving our platform and providing you with the best possible experience on Maison Sport, we have introduced 5 new subscription tiers for our instructors.
New subscription tiers and pricing:
- Lite: €0
- Part-time: €0
- Basic: €249/year
- Pro: €499/year
- Ultimate: €499/year
Each subscription tier includes features and benefits tailored to your needs and preferences. Please refer to the table below for a detailed overview of the features included in each tier.
A few additional things to know:
- Part-time, basic and ultimate will only be available in our most popular resorts.
- Pro will be available in all resorts (lite users can choose to upgrade to this level)
- Lite will be available in all resorts except the most popular resorts. If an instructor using the lite subscription wants to add one of the ‘popular resorts’ (or access any other benefits), they will have to upgrade to the pro subscription.
To check which subscriptions are available in a resort we have added a ‘resort checker’ to our instructor landing page. You will find this above the instructor subscription cards half-way down the page. When you log in to your Maison Sport account the subscription options shown to you will be based off the resorts you currently have on your profile.
The part-time tier only allows you to work certain weeks in the year:
- Week 1: Sunday 29th Dec;
- Week 8: Sunday 16th Feb;
- Week 9: Sunday 23rd Feb;
- Week 15: Sunday 6th April
Each subscription tier includes features and benefits tailored to your needs and preferences.
The main differences will be:
- The pro tier has a lower commission (7.2% compared to 10%)
- In our biggest resorts, different tiers will give you access to more features
- For the part-time tier, you will have access to all the basic features but the season is limited to 4 weeks
Additional features for the basic tier:
- Ability to take bookings any time in the season
Additional features for the pro tier:
- Price per person → You can set hourly pricing like the other tiers, but if people are 5 or 6, you can add a fee per person per hour.
- Search ranking boost → You can boost your profile 3x a year so you appear higher on the search results page
- Ability to select different sports → You can offer different sports
- Ability to work in different resorts → You can work across more than 1 resort (max 4 in France – or 4 resort groups e.g. Courchevel 1850, 1650, 1550 all count as 1 resort group.)
- Ability to limit last-minute bookings → 48h notice period option available
FAQs
Q: Will my current account be affected by these changes?
A: If your account is not active, you will be prompted to select a subscription plan when you next sign it, before being able to re-activate. If your account is active, you have 14 days to select a plan, if you are not able to select a plan within this time frame your account will move on to the ‘part time’ or ‘lite’ subscription plan, depending on your resort.
Q: What if I already have a booking for next year?
A: Regardless of which subscription plan you choose, you will be able to keep any bookings received prior to the 23rd July and we will of course honour the terms they were booked at (i.e our commission charged to you will remain at 7.2%).
Q: How can I upgrade my account to a paid subscription tier?
A: You can upgrade your account to a subscription tier by visiting our website and selecting the subscription tier that you would like to upgrade to. Alternatively, you can contact our Instructor Community team for assistance.
Q: How do I pay for it?
A: You will have two different options when it comes to paying:
- You can pay upfront directly via a payment link for a 25% discount
- You can choose to get the amount of the subscription deducted from the first payment(s) of the season, so you don’t even have to spend anything upfront.
Q: What tier is best for me?
A: If you are in one of the top resorts, we strongly recommend the pro plan as you will benefit from a lower commission and more freedom and control over your season.
