When Does the Ski Season in the Southern Hemisphere Start?
The ski season in the Southern Hemisphere typically starts in June and ends in October, lasting for around 4-5 months depending on the resort (see below for projected dates). Please note that the dates provided in this blog are projected and subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors.

Summer Skiing!
If you fancy skiing on snow year-round, then a trip to one of these Southern Hemisphere ski resorts is a must! While Maison Sport doesn’t operate in these resorts, many of our instructors chase the winter and spend their European summer skiing in the Southern Hemisphere – so you may see a friendly face on your travels! If you want to keep up your skiing over summer a little closer to home, why not visit one of the UK’s excellent indoor ski centres or dry ski slopes? You can even go glacier skiing in the Alps at select European ski resorts!
