We are thrilled that Maison Sport continues to receive large volumes of interest from customers for Ski Touring and Cross-Country Skiing, particularly in ski resorts in France and Italy. 




At Maison Sport, we always want to ensure that you are in the best position to maximize your bookings at all times. With this in mind, we suggest that if you are in a ski resort where the ski lifts are currently closed and you offer one of these disciplines to your customers, it could be very beneficial to reduce your rates.




The data from our bookings show that private lessons for ski touring and cross-country ski instructors are between 45 and 55 euros per hour in France and Italy, and therefore, if you are not receiving reservations, we believe that it could be simply because of the pricing. 

Lowering your prices is not something that we would normally recommend you to do in a normal season as we pride ourselves on giving you full liberty and control over your profiles. However, with your best interests at heart, we strongly believe that it would be of great value to you in order to maximize your bookings this season.

Even though you will be charging less than your normal ski rate, do not be discouraged, essentially you will be receiving more revenue by receiving more and frequent bookings.

If you haven’t received any bookings through our platform for Ski Touring or Cross-Country skiing yet, do not lose hope! We can assure you that we continuously receive customer interest in these disciplines. So there is still time to secure some bookings for the rest of this season by simply adjusting your prices for these disciplines. 




Adjusting your price is so easy and simple that you can change it at any time should you wish to. If you decide to lower your prices for the rest of this season given the current circumstances, you can absolutely increase it again whenever you want to. 

How to adjust your pricing on your profile




To adjust your pricing, log in to your Maison Sport Account and in the top toolbar, hover over the button called ‘Calendar’ here you will see a dropdown menu and then click ‘Pricing’.

This page above will appear which will allow you to adjust your Hourly rate and Daily rate. Once you have made any changes, don’t forget to click on the blue button named ‘Save Changes’.
