Corvatsch Ski Area

The ski area in Corvatsch is divided into three main areas; Furtschellas, Corvatsch Murtèl and Corvatsch Summit, which are all interconnected. The ski area consists of 23 runs, of which 35% are blue, 40% red and 25% black.

Corvatsch offers a variety of gentle, wide runs ideal for beginners. There are two main nursery slopes, one at Corvatsch Murtèl and one at Furtschellas. Once beginners have mastered the nursery slopes, there are several beginner-friendly areas to check out, like the blue runs at Furtschellas. The easier runs in Corvatsch are typically at higher altitudes, becoming more challenging as you descend to the resort, hence we recommend taking the lifts back down if you’re still building confidence.

Intermediate Skiing in Corvatsch

Corvatsch is an excellent resort for intermediate skiers looking to expand their skills. With an array of blue and red runs to explore, intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice. The Corvatsch Murtèl area is ideal for lower-intermediate skiers, with plenty of wide, rolling blue runs. Corvatsch is renowned as a premier resort for advanced skiers. The black run from the Corvatsch Summit to Murtèl is a must-try. It offers a challenging descent of 1500m, providing adrenaline-pumping action for experienced skiers. For a greater challenge, try the Hahnensee run, starting at Corvatsch Summit and ending in St. Moritz, this ungroomed mogul descent is sure to test your skills and stamina!

Off-piste Skiing in Corvatsch

Corvatsch is a paradise for advanced skiers, offering some of the best lift-served off-piste skiing in Switzerland. From steep chutes to snowy bowls, there is a plethora of off-piste terrain to discover. One of the most popular off-piste areas is the Fuorcla Surlej.
