We are delighted to report that snow is falling in the Alps after unseasonably warm temperatures during the Christmas period. There has been between 20-40cm of snow across a wide swathe of the Alps with over 50cm in areas of the northern French Alps. 

The snow fall started late last week in the south-western Alps, spread north and then hit further east into Austria.

Resorts have been working hard preparing the pistes with holiday goers, and locals alike, enjoying the much welcomed fresh snow!
