A complete and appealing profile is vital for attracting clients on Maison Sport. Instructors with impressive photos and an interesting bio are far more likely to get booked for ski lessons than instructors without, so it’s important to be aware of what exactly makes a perfect profile on Maison Sport.
Follow these tips below and you’ll be well on your way to securing more bookings this coming winter!
Make a good first impression
We need to know it’s you from your profile photo! Use a simple (or mountain) background and ideally have the photo showing you from the shoulders up. Here are some good examples:
Use a variety of images
Make sure to post 4 other photos that show you riding on the mountain and ideally giving out some instruction during a lesson. Variety is key to show the different sides to your skiing and teaching. However, make sure you choose appropriate photos for your customer base that will appeal to both beginners and more experienced skiers.
Tell us about yourself
A good biography is probably the most important part of your profile. It needs to represent YOU. Be sure to come across as friendly and welcoming, and include information like your qualifications/experience, why you love being an instructor and maybe a fun skiing story or fact to make you stand out. Here’s a good example from one of our instructors:
Set the scene
Include a ‘What to Expect’ section to tell your clients about what a normal ski lesson with you looks like. What is your teaching style? How will you keep them safe? What will you do to help them achieve their goals?
Stand out from the crowd
Give your new profile a boost by inviting 3 of your past clients to leave a review on your profile. Your reviews from past customers are an invaluable way to build up a great reputation on Maison Sport, which will lead to more bookings.
Get Creative
To make your profile even more eyecatching, we offer our instructors the opportunity to post a video to your page showing what a day on the slopes with you looks like. The videos can only be created by request so if this interests you, please send an email to [email protected]. Here’s an example:
What’s your COVID policy?
Consider including some information about the measures you are taking this winter to protect your clients against COVID-19. Common examples will be wearing a face covering and offering refunds if a customer has to cancel due to COVID. This may also mean changing your cancellation policy to accommodate more customers.
