Keep checking the enquiry board to fill gaps in your schedule

Now half term is over there are a lot of off-peak enquiries being added to the enquiry board, along with a lot of bookings over the extended Easter period. 

Don’t be afraid to message customers that made enquiries a while ago, if the enquiry is still on the board, they haven’t yet booked through Maison Sport. It may be that they have booked elsewhere, but unless you send them a message, you will never know!

We have found that the most successful instructors using the enquiries board do the following:

  • Check the board regularly throughout the day, so you can message a potential customer as soon as it appears on the board. Remember there’s high chance the customer will have also contacted ski schools, so if you’re available, make sure you’re quick to send these potential customers a message – don’t wait until the end of the day.
  • Include full details about your availability and pricing, even if you can’t offer exactly what the customer is looking for. 
  • Make sure you tell the customer about your key attributes and experience and how it fits with their request. (We know this is shown on your profile, but not all customers will take the time to look).
