The Winter season 21/22 is just around the corner and the independent instructors on Maison Sport are getting ready to welcome all of you back onto the slopes. If you are unsure whether you should start planning your holiday on the mountains, then read on.
Starting from today Maison Sport is introducing a new deposit feature for booking any lesson offered on our platform. We created this new feature with the aim of making your planning less stressful, by allowing you to secure your favourite independent instructor months in advance without the need of paying for the full amount until just a few weeks before the actual lesson takes place.

How does it work?
Our 20% refundable deposit is very easy to use, simply follow the normal booking process and at the checkout page you will have the option of paying a deposit instead of paying for the full lesson (as long as your dates meet the requirements explained below). Once your deposit has been made, we’ll take care of the rest, updating you and notifying you of upcoming payments.
How much do I need to pay?
One of the best things about the deposit system is that you only have to pay 20% of the full lesson in advance. This will allow you to secure your favourite independent instructor early on without the worry of having to pay for the full lesson. Instructors tend to get booked quickly, thanks to our deposit system you can have first dibs.
Can I pay a deposit for every type of lesson?
Absolutely yes! Whether you are skiing, snowboarding, going for a cross-country-skiing adventure, or a ski touring and telemark day, you can use our deposit feature to book. The important thing to remember is that you must book it at least 30 days in advance to be eligible for the deposit feature.
When will the rest of the charge take place & will I get notified?
The rest of the payment will be charged 24 days before the lesson. As the date for the final payment approaches you will receive different emails as reminders. In fact, you will get emails 2 weeks, 1 week, and 1 day before the final payment is automatically taken from your account.
What if I decide to cancel my lesson?
Great news, the deposits are fully refundable! If the last year has taught us anything it’s that plans change so we wanted to give our customers full peace of mind when booking a lesson through us. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason you will get your full deposit back as long as the cancellation happens 21 days before the lesson. Our new refundable deposit is great for families that need to plan their vacations in advance, big groups that are planning a vacation together, or if you have a favourite instructor and you want to make sure they will be available to do your lessons whenever you’re planning on going on holiday. Whichever your reason might be for booking your lesson in advance, you can now do so without worrying of paying large amounts of money upfront and with the certainty of knowing you can cancel up to 21 days before.
