Whilst we think TripAdvisor style reviews are really useful for booking hotels, restaurants, specific guided tours etc.. they’re not quite as useful for booking ski lessons and here’s why;

According to a recent survey, 90% of consumers read online reviews and 88% of them trust the online reviews as much as personal recommendations. It’s fair to say that this makes reviews important to almost any business, especially those that sell high value products or services.

For you as a customer, it is and should be a vital aspect of booking your ski lessons. TripAdvisor/Feefo etc provide a great platform for customers to review ski schools and If you search for ski schools in a given resort, some schools will have more than 100 reviews, typically over a 5-10 year period. 

Whilst these reviews are great, you will more than likely be reading a review of an instructor that you won’t be skiing with, making it virtually irrelevant. Only if you manage to request that instructor or that review describes the great customer care of the ski school will you benefit from reading it.
