I'm 33 years of age, originally from Sheffield and now I live in Verbier Switzerland and an independent ski instructor. I studied Sport Coaching at University, relating a lot of my work to skiing and gave me the tools to coach at the highest standard and become a ski instructor examiner. I also work as a freelance videographer/photographer, so we can easily create a highlight video / photoshoot whilst we have our lesson to capture great memories and your transformations.

What to expect in a ski lesson

I have great deal of experience helping skiers bridge the gap between intermediate - advanced so you can finally start skiing off-piste, carving and make sure you have a technical foundation for longevity. I specialise in ski biomechanics and we'll be looking at your skiing through a mechanical lens to ensure your body is moving correctly. My advanced teaching methods have allowed me to transform 100's of skiers from beginners - aspiring ski instructors - professional athletes so it would be great to help you regardless at what stage you're at in your skiing journey.

Lessons will generally begin at the main lift station in resort, however, it's often also possible to arrange to start your lessons at your accomodation (especially for full day lessons or a lesson starting first thing in the morning). Upon booking Rob M will be able to suggest the most suitable meeting point to ensure you get the most from your lessons. If you have a particular request which will influence whether you book this instructor, for instance starting at a restaurant on the mountain, then we suggest messaging the instructor prior to booking.
