I grew up in the Italian Alps and started skiing at just three years old on the slopes of Macugnaga. Skiing quickly became a lifelong passion, and after years of training and time on the mountain, I became a qualified instructor. I’ve since taught in world-class resorts including Val d’Isère and Tignes in France. I speak both English and Italian, and I currently live and teach in Italy. What to expect in a ski lesson

My teaching approach is calm, clear, and tailored to your goals. I believe in building confidence through step-by-step progress, with a strong focus on technique and control. I’ll work with you to identify your strengths and areas for improvement, whether you’re just getting started or aiming to master black runs and off-piste terrain. I take pride in seeing happy, satisfied skiers at the end of each lesson, it’s truly the best part of the job.

Lessons will generally begin at the main lift station in resort, however, it's often also possible to arrange to start your lessons at your accomodation (especially for full day lessons or a lesson starting first thing in the morning). Upon booking Gabriele L will be able to suggest the most suitable meeting point to ensure you get the most from your lessons. If you have a particular request which will influence whether you book this instructor, for instance starting at a restaurant on the mountain, then we suggest messaging the instructor prior to booking.
