The resort offers challenging black runs, and for those seeking off-piste adventures, the glacier promises thrilling descents. Furthermore, the connection to Zermatt provides more advanced terrains, such as the challenging runs of piste 59 (Pista Nera del Cervino) and piste 8 (Obere Nationa).

Cervinia's ski season is impressively long, often starting in October and stretching until May. Given its altitude, snow is typically consistent and reliable. While Christmas, New Year, and February school holidays can see a spike in visitors, March and April offer great snow and warmer weather.

The instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate.

Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Independent instructors must also provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to teach.
