La Rosiere is a pretty, traditional alpine village, located near the popular resorts of Les Arcs and Sainte Foy, it is also connected to the fantastic Italian resort of La Thuile, together forming the Espace San Bernardo ski area. There are a total of about 150km of ski runs available in La Rosiere, suitable for all levels of skiers.

La Rosière 1850 is particularly well-suited for beginners. The resort features several gentle green and blue slopes near the base, providing an ideal environment for newcomers to learn and practice.

Intermediate skiers will appreciate the diverse array of runs available in the Espace San Bernardo area. There's an exciting blend of blue and red pistes, allowing skiers to explore both the French and Italian sides of the mountain. While La Rosière 1850 is primarily known for its family-friendly slopes, there are challenges on and off piste for the expert skier as well. The Franco Berthod piste is renowned as the most difficult, at over 3km long with a staggering 72% gradient, it isn’t one for the faint of heart!

La Rosière 1850 is open from mid December to late April. Due to its south-facing orientation, the resort enjoys ample sunshine throughout the season, however, this can mean snow cover on the lower slopes can be patchy late in the season.
