La Tania was purpose built for the 1992 Olympics.
La Tania is a popular resort that sits within the 3 Valleys ski area, it's nestled between Courchevel and Meribel and has a great village feel, offering great value catered chalet accommodation to visiting skiers and snowboarders. La Tania hosted the 2022 World Cup Finals, the downhill piste which travels from the top of La Tania and then down to Courchevel Le Praz, is one of the most exciting ski runs on the tour.

In France all instructors must carry a ‘Carte Professionelle’ licence. This licence is administered by the French Government and it takes 5 years+ to attain this. This qualification also includes numerous teaching and technical performance diplomas in skiing or snowboarding, European mountain safety courses and the Euro speed test. The instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate.

Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Independent instructors must also provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to teach.
