La Tania was purpose built for the 1992 Olympics.
La Tania is a popular resort that sits within the 3 Valleys ski area, it's nestled between Courchevel and Meribel and has a great village feel, offering great value catered chalet accommodation to visiting skiers and snowboarders. La Tania hosted the 2022 World Cup Finals, the downhill piste which travels from the top of La Tania and then down to Courchevel Le Praz, is one of the most exciting ski runs on the tour.

The tree-lined runs also offer protection on snowy days, making the learning process less daunting. For intermediates, La Tania serves as an excellent base to explore the wider Three Valleys. Its central location means that you can venture out to the neighbouring resorts of Courchevel and Meribel. The varied terrains and multitude of blue and red pistes ensure there's something new to experience each day.

While La Tania may seem to cater more to families and beginners, experts aren't left out. L’Eclipse, a particularly challenging black run that will certainly test your legs, starts at the top of La Tania before dropping down to Le Praz. Furthermore, its position allows for quick access to more challenging terrain in nearby resorts and the wider 3 Valleys.

La Tania's ski season typically runs from early December through to late April. Given its altitude and tree-lined slopes, it maintains good snow cover for most of the season. To avoid the crowds, it's recommended to visit outside of the school holiday periods. However, access to the vast 3 Valleys ensures the pistes are never too crowded.

This qualification also includes numerous teaching and technical performance diplomas in skiing or snowboarding, European mountain safety courses and the Euro speed test. The instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate.

Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Independent instructors must also provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to teach.
