With its charming alpine chalets, welcoming village atmosphere, and access to over 600 km of interconnected ski runs, Les Gets caters to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. The resort boasts gentle beginner slopes, challenging off-piste for advanced skiers, and dedicated snowparks for freestyle enthusiasts. Les Gets is perfectly positioned for exploring nearby resorts Morzine and snow-sure Avoriaz, which are easily accessible via bus. Other resorts in the Portes du Soleil, like Chatel and Champery, offer further opportunities for adventure. Conveniently located near major airports, Les Gets is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Geneva Airport, making it very accessible resort for young families. Les Gets ski season usually runs from mid-December to mid-April. While the festive period and February school holidays can see a surge in visitors, the extensive Portes du Soleil area ensures it doesn’t feel too crowded.

This qualification also includes numerous teaching and technical performance diplomas in skiing or snowboarding, European mountain safety courses and the Euro speed test. The instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate.

Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Independent instructors must also provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to teach.
