Samoëns is a great resort for beginners with numerous green slopes and gentle terrain close to the village, novices can easily find their skiing legs. Most beginners will start on the nursery slopes in Samoens 1600, accessed by the Grand Massif Express lift. You can even buy a beginner’s lift pass that gives you access to the nursery slopes at a reduced price.

Intermediate skiers will love the vast expanse provided by the Grand Massif ski pass, allowing them to venture into neighbouring areas like Flaine and Morillon. While Samoëns offers a mix of terrains, the blue and red slopes around the Tête des Saix are particularly popular. These runs combine incredible views and uncrowded pistes adding to their popularity.
