A fantastic resort in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
Peisey Vallandry is located at the heart of the Paradiski ski area, giving skiers and snowboarders access to over 425km of pistes across Peisey Vallandry, Les Arcs and La Plagne. There are a variety of excellent accommodation options available in Peisey Vallandry, over half of the chalets are ski-in ski-out and many of the self-catered apartments are conveniently located near the main ski lifts. The ski resort caters for all ability levels and groups, with a dedicated beginners ski area and plenty of easily accessible off piste through the trees.

The resort offers a selection of gentle nursery slopes, with a dedicated beginners area near the village centre, which is ideal for beginner skiers. As confidence builds, the Grizzly and Vallandry lifts provide access to wider and slightly steeper blue runs to progress on.

Peisey Vallandry is perfect for intermediate skiers. A vast majority of the pistes cater to this skill level, with a mix of wide open pistes and tree-lined trails. Additionally, the central location of the resort within the Paradiski (Portes du Soleil) area means that intermediates can easily venture towards the larger resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne.

While Peisey Vallandry caters more for beginner and intermediate skiers, advanced skiers won't feel left out. There are some challenging black runs and ample off-piste opportunities in the nearby areas, especially when heading towards the Col du Grand Renard and Grand Col areas. The surrounding forests also provide excellent tree skiing options after a fresh dump of snow.

The instructors are also required to have a criminal record check and a first aid certificate.

Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Finland, Scotland, Spain – all verified instructors must carry a minimum level of qualification which must be at the ISIA card level or above. Independent instructors must also provide documentation to show they meet the local regulatory requirements to teach.
