Saas Fee provides a welcoming environment for beginners. The resort has several dedicated beginner areas at the village level, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment. As beginners gain confidence, they can leave the valley and explore some of the gentle blue runs higher up the mountain.
What is the skiing like in Saas Fee for intermediate?
Intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice in Saas Fee. Multiple red runs snake their way down from the glacier, offering varied terrain and incredible views. The Mittelallalin and Felskinn areas, in particular, provide a mix of enjoyable easy cruisers and more challenging pistes.
What is the skiing like in Saas Fee for experts?
Expert skiers in Saas Fee will find plenty of steep and challenging red and black runs to entertain themselves on. The descent from the top of the Allalin 2 lift (above the world's highest revolving restaurant) down to the valley is a great run and a real leg workout. You can also find some great freeride and mogul skiing on the Fee glacier.
When is the best time to ski in Saas Fee?
Summer skiing on the Saas Fee glacier is possible in summer and autumn, however, the main resort opens for the winter season from the end of October till late April.
