Courmayeur has several gentle nursery slopes up the mountain at Plan Chécrouit and Pre de Pascal, however, with no green runs and only a handful of blue runs, the progression from the nursery slopes can be difficult.

What is the skiing like in Courmayeur for intermediate?

Courmayeur is perfect for intermediates with a mix of gentle tree runs above Val Veny and expansive red runs higher up that offer panoramic views of Mont Blanc. If you run out of pistes in Courmayeur you can also venture over to La Thuile (25 mins by bus) which has more pistes and links to other resorts such as La Rosiere.

What is the skiing like in Courmayeur for experts?

Expert skiers will find plenty of steeper and more challenging runs in Courmayeur and can take advantage of the excellent off piste, although a guide is highly recommended.
