What is the skiing like in Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc for beginners?
With an abundance of green and blue runs, particularly in the Bettex area, Saint Gervais is a welcoming place for beginners. The resort has gentle slopes and wide areas to practise turns, making it easy for newcomers to gain confidence.
What is the skiing like in Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc for intermediate?
Intermediate skiers will find a great deal to enjoy here, with a large variety of blue and red pistes. Those with the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski pass can explore the larger ski area, including nearby resorts like Megeve and Les Contamines. There are some fantastic red runs in Saint Gervais, perfect for intermediates above Les Bettex and under Mont d’Arbois.
What is the skiing like in Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc for experts?
Whilst Saint Gervais is not known for its off-piste and tough terrain, there is still plenty to entertain expert skiers and challenging terrain can be soughte out. Advanced skiers should head towards Mont Joly in Megeve where a number of tricky black runs can be found. Saint Gervais also has some great tree skiing on offer and you’ll find that on powder days there is far less of a scramble for the fresh snow!
When is the best time to ski in Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc?
Saint Gervais is open from mid December till early April, although the lower slopes may be closed early or late in the season if there is a lack of snow. Saint Gervais can get very busy during the school holidays, however, with its vast ski area, the crowds quickly disappear.
